Commissioned for a wedding, this unaccompanied partsong for SATTB choir is a setting of a poem by John Donne (1572-1631).
In February and March 2020 it was premiered by international award-winning vocal ensemble, Apollo5, in concerts in their tour of the USA. It was subsequently included in the group’s album, Where All Roses Go, released on 12 February 2021. Their recording can be heard in the video below.
It is suitable for use at weddings or other celebrations of marriage, or as a concert work.
